The legal bases for data protection are contained in the the German Federal Data Protection Act / Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data / server log files

The provider (and his web space provider respectively) collects data of each access to the offer (so called server log files). Access data include: The name of the retrieved web page, file, date and time of the retrieval, transmitted data volume, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system of the user, referrer URL, IP address and requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data at a later date if there is a reasonable suspicion of unlawful use.

Handling of personal data

Personal data includes information that enables the identification of a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or phone number, but also data about a person’s preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed.

Personal data will only be collected, used and passed on by the provider, if this is legally permitted or if the users consent to the data collection.

When contacting the provider ( by contact form or via e-mail), the user details will be saved accordingly for the purpose of processing queries or in case of follow-up questions.

Integration of third-party services and content

Third party contents, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites may be embedded, which presumes that providers of these contents (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) perceive the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the user’s browser. The IP address is therefore required for the transmission and display of these contents. We will make every effort to only use content of providers, who in turn only use the IP address for the delivery of the content. However, it is beyond our control if third-party vendors use the IP address, for example, for statistical purposes. We will forward any potential information and updates to the respective user.
